The photographs are documents of contemporary life and the social history on the reservations outside of Buffalo, near the Cattaraugus, Tonawanda and Tuscarora reservations and the Lower West Side of Buffalo. Specific tribes include the Seneca, Mohawk and the Tuscarora. The photographs were taken between 1963 and 1993.
